This project involved a Biomass 198kw pellet installation, with 14 tonne pellet store, on behalf of Buchan Brae Hotel in Boddam, Peterhead.
Buchan Brae is a substantial property with a restaurant, conference room, bar, and over 47 bedrooms. The heating and hot water requirements of the entire hotel are not met through our Biomass system, featuring 2 99kw Froling P4 boilers.
At the time of writing, installation took place in 2015, Buchan Braes have already seen a return on their investment, and have significantly reduced their carbon footprint. They are on track to saving around 1,722 tonnes of Co2 in the 20 years following installation.
