Famlay Eggs

Famlay Eggs – Solar PV System

In 2014, we installed a 50KW solar PV system on behalf of Farmlay eggs, an independent Aberdeenshire farm that has been providing Scotland with quality eggs since 1913.

They were so impressed with the results of the installation and our approach that they then decided to install a further 150KW of solar panels, to meet all the energy requirements of laying sheds on a separate farm to the first installation.

At Renewable Energy Matters we have seen many of our clients return for more following a renewable energy installation, testament to the effectiveness of our systems and the dedication of our installation team.

Iain Chapman, the farms owner said “The project has been absolutely fantastic, and we worked closely with Absolute at each stage. The installation took just four days and production at the farm continued as normal during the installation with minimal disruption. “We were so impressed with Absolute that we have now made the decision to push ahead with the installation of a further 150 KW to supply energy to the laying sheds on another farm.”
